History

Louis Vuitton began as a trunk-maker and packer in Paris. His revolutionary flat-topped trunks — which could be stacked, unlike the curved-top trunks of the era — revolutionised travel. The LV monogram, introduced in 1896 by his son Georges, remains one of the world's most recognised luxury symbols.
